Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Puttaparthy
Arrive at Puttaparthy from Bangalore airport or railway station by road. Transfer to hotel/Ashram. Puttaparthy, a small village in Ananthapur district of Andhra Pradesh, is today on the world map. The person responsible for it is “Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba” considered as a living God by millions. People from all over the world, seeking peace of mind and solace, make a beeline to this village. Rest of the day is at leisure to witness miracles during the Vibhuti ceremony and listen to discourses at the Ashram. Overnight at the hotel / Ashram. (Bangalore – Puttaparthy: 160 kms/03 hrs)

Day 02: Puttaparthy – Mysore
Early morning check out of the hotel/Ashram. Drive to Mysore via Bangalore. Enroute, visit Srirangapatnam, the island fortress of Tipu. Late afternoon, arrive and check-in at hotel. Afternoon is at leisure. Evening visit the beautifully terraced and illuminated Brindavan Gardens (19 kms). Overnight at the hotel. (Puttaparthy-Mysore via Bangalore: 300 kms/06 hrs)

Day 03: Mysore – Coorg
After breakfast, proceed on a city tour of Mysore visiting Amber Vilas (the Maharaja Palace), Chamarajendra Art Gallery, Zoological Gardens, Rail Museum, St. Philomena’s Church and Chamundi Hill. Afternoon, check out of hotel and drive to Coorg. Coorg is known as the ‘Scotland of India’. This town has a lot to offer to the tourist: Misty hills, lush forests, abundant tea and coffee plantations, orange groves, undulating streets and breathtaking views. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (Mysore–Coorg: 160 kms/03 hrs)

Day 04: Coorg
After breakfast, proceed on local tour visiting Mercara Fort, Raja’s Seat, Gadige (Royal tombs), Abbey Falls, Omkareshwara temple, Talacauvery, Kakabe and Nalnad Palace. Continue to Dubare, an elephant capturing and training camp of the Forest Department, located at the edge of Dubare forest. Another unique place is the Tibetan Colony in Bylekuppe near Kushalnagar. Popularly known as `Little Tibet’, it is now the second largest Tibetan settlement outside of Tibet. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Coorg – Bangalore
After breakfast, check out of hotel. Drive to Bangalore. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (Coorg-Bangalore: 260 kms /06 hrs)

Day 06: Depart Bangalore
After breakfast, proceed on a city tour of Bangalore visiting Tipu Sultan’s Palace, Bull Temple, Lalbagh, Govt. Soap Factory, Vidhan Soudha (drive past), Cubbon Park, Mysore Arts & Crafts centre, Govt. Museum, Vishveswaraya Industrial and Technological Museum and Venkatappa Art Gallery. Check out from the hotel by afternoon. Depart for Bangalore airport /railway station for your onward destination.
